The Sword Has Fallen – Wheat and Tares Are Being Separated

Jesus said He didn’t come to bring peace, but a sword:

“Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.” – Matthew 10:34 (NKJV)

That’s a hard word to swallow for many, but we are seeing it in real time. What is happening around us is not random chaos — it is a spiritual threshing floor, separating wheat from tares.

“Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, ‘First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.’” – Matthew 13:30 (NKJV)

The assassination of Charlie Kirk was not just a tragedy, it was a line drawn in the sand. A man was taken out not for corruption, not for violence, but for words. When a truth-teller is silenced, the spirit of the age is exposed.

The lukewarm middle ground is gone. The line is razor thin now. You cannot straddle the fence anymore — you will be forced to choose sides.

  • Wheat vs. Tares: The genuine followers of Christ are being sifted out from those who only wear the label of “Christian.” (Matthew 13:24-30)
  • Hot vs. Cold: There’s no room left for lukewarm faith.
“So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.” – Revelation 3:16 (NKJV)
  • Light vs. Darkness: The clash is out in the open — kingdoms are colliding, and neutrality is no longer an option.
“And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.” – John 1:5 (NKJV)

God warned that judgment would begin in His own house:

“For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?” – 1 Peter 4:17 (NKJV)

This is not to destroy us, but to purify us — to make His Bride ready. Stand firm. Don’t be surprised if the world hates you — it hated Him first. But take courage: these are the days we were born for.
