Babylon the Great & MAGA: Prophecy, America, and the Coming Fall

A straight-talking, Bible-first look at Revelation’s pattern, modern “Make ___ Great Again” movements, and the prophetic voices pointing to a jubilee window before a hard fall.
Short version: Scripture gives us a template. Empires rise, boast in their greatness, seduce nations with wealth, and then fall fast. If that shoe fits, lace it up.
The Cry of “Great”
Revelation calls the end-time system “Babylon the Great.” That word GREAT keeps ringing. In our day the rallying cry has become “Make _____ Great Again.” It’s not confined to the United States; the slogan and the spirit have gone global. Is that mere branding—or a prophetic echo?
“Fallen, fallen is Babylon the Great, she who made all nations drink the wine of the passion of her immorality.” — Revelation 14:8
Translation: A powerful, wealthy system intoxicates the nations. They love the benefits; they ignore the cost—until the bill comes due.
America Overlaid on Revelation’s Template
1) Rise / Ascent
From 1776 through the 20th century, America rose from colonies to superpower. Nations aligned for trade, protection, and cultural influence. The world drank our “cup.”
2) Apex / Greatness
By the 1990s, the U.S. stood unrivaled. It felt unshakable—financially, militarily, culturally.
“She says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.’” — Revelation 18:7
3) MAGA Peak / Jubilee Window
“Make America Great Again” reframed national destiny as restoration—prosperity, strength, even divine favor. Many prophetic voices describe this as a reprieve: a mercy window for exposure, harvest, and a transfer of wealth (Jubilee dynamics) to fund Kingdom work.
4) Collapse / Judgment
Revelation’s warning is blunt: the fall is sudden.
“For this reason her plagues will come in a single day… and she will be burned with fire.” — Revelation 18:8
Whether by financial implosion, internal fracture, war, or a cocktail of all three—when the peak passes, the drop won’t be gradual. It’ll be a trapdoor.
5) Global Fallout
All those tied to the system feel the shock.
“The kings of the earth… will weep and wail when they see the smoke of her burning.” — Revelation 18:9
6) The Remnant Call
God’s instruction isn’t complicated; it’s costly.
“Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues.” — Revelation 18:4
Detach your hope from the system. Use the jubilee to prepare, build, and serve—don’t get drunk on the glitter.
Prophetic Voices that Track This Pattern
Different messengers, same melody line:
- Kim Clement — “Trump shall be My trumpet.” Chaos, exposure, and unexpected leaders used by God.
- Hank Kunneman — A mercy reprieve: America won’t fall yet; God restrains judgment for harvest.
- Robin D. Bullock — Symbolic language (e.g., “two presidents”) revealing a divided, Babylon-like authority.
- Kent Christmas — Transfer of wealth, raising a new breed for the work ahead.
- Mario Murillo — Repentance and evangelism: practical obedience to “come out of her.”
- Dutch Sheets — Intercession and covenant (“Appeal to Heaven”) to shield the remnant.
- Julie Green — Sudden removals and shocking reversals: the “in one day” flavor of Revelation 18.
- Amanda Grace — Modern “Nebuchadnezzars” and “Pharaohs” humbled; signs in the natural accompany judgment.
| Revelation Phase | What Scripture Shows | Prophetic Echo | So What? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rise | Nations partner with Babylon’s power (Rev 17:2; 18:3) | Clement, Sheets — destiny & covenant language | America becomes the hub; nations align for benefit |
| Apex | “I sit as queen… will never mourn” (Rev 18:7) | Kunneman — mercy holding back full collapse | Confidence is high; danger is hidden |
| Jubilee Window | Merchants enriched; influence peaks (Rev 18:3) | Kent Christmas — wealth transfer; exposure | Provision for Kingdom work; don’t waste it |
| Collapse | “In a single day” (Rev 18:8) | Julie Green, Amanda Grace — sudden falls | Fast drop; little time to adjust mid-fall |
| Fallout | Kings & merchants mourn (Rev 18:9–19) | Global shaking themes across voices | Allies suffer; supply lines and systems snap |
| Remnant | “Come out of her, My people” (Rev 18:4) | Murillo, Sheets — repentance & intercession | Holiness over hype; ark over yacht |
A Jubilee Before the Fall
Jubilee isn’t a shopping spree; it’s a reset for obedience. Use the window to get lean, holy, and ready:
- Detach from Babylon habits: debt-drunk spending, celebrity worship, and compromise that buys influence.
- Deploy resources to Kingdom work: local church, evangelism, widows and orphans, community mercy.
- Discern alliances: align with the Lord more than logos; with Scripture more than slogans.
Conclusion
America fits the pattern: rise, boast of greatness, intoxicate the nations, then fall. That doesn’t mean God abandons His people—it means He calls them out, sets them apart, and funds the harvest ahead of the shaking. Don’t cling to Babylon and call it blessing. Cling to Christ and call it obedience.
